The conversation behind the cover
Your premises and activities
Describe what the business does, where it operates and the premises, equipment or stock it relies on. Let us know about changes since the last insurance review.
The people and responsibilities
Tell us about the work your team performs, customer contact, contractors and any insurance requirements in contracts. We can discuss which matters need to be addressed in the quotation.
An interruption to trading
Consider what would happen if premises or equipment could not be used. Ask what the proposed policy would respond to, what it would exclude and which limits or periods would apply.
A recommendation you can examine
We obtain quotations and review recommendations at senior level. Limits, exclusions and conditions are explained by email; premium is one part of that assessment.
Useful to know
Before you enquire.
Cover depends on the individual risk, insurer acceptance and policy terms. Sending an enquiry does not put cover in place.
Explore commercial insurance ↗Is cyber automatically included?
Do not assume that it is. Cyber cover and incident response arrangements should be discussed separately and checked against the actual policy wording.
Can you help if the business is changing?
Contact us about a move, new equipment or a change in activities. A change should not be treated as covered until the relevant arrangements have been confirmed.
Can you cover international operations?
Our business is UK-based and clients with international dealings are outside our current scope. Establish this with us at the start of the conversation.
